Dear all,

A special issue on Signal Processing for Sound Synthesis has been
published in the March '07 issue of the IEEE Signal Processing
Magazine. It contains 10 papers covering various aspects of modern
digital sound synthesis. The magazine is available online through the
IEEExplore service (if your university has a license; otherwise you
only see the table of contents):
http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/tocresult.jsp?isYear=2007&isnumber=4116828&Submit32=Go+To+Issue

The special issue was organized by a team of guest editors (Vesa
Valimaki, Rudolf Rabenstein, Davide Rocchesso, Xavier Serra, and
Julius O. Smith). Three of them participate in S2S^2. The S2S^2
Consortium and its coordinator Nicola Bernardini are acknowledged in
this special issue for providing funding for the meeting of the guest
editors that was held at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany,
in June 2006.

Best regards,

Vesa
